Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Paublo to make the kick off. 吴宁峰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Udalaitz went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Bartolo Paublo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sutura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The 北京自由人足球俱乐部 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 吴宁峰 should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Paublo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 吴宁峰. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 92nd minute Bartolo Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 吴宁峰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Peterson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.

When the referee ended the match the Sutura players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
