Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Seth Beard sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Sebastian Jayvier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Belper Town's Martyn Fordham. Martyn Fordham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Teodoro Stiles came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Sport Club Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Stiles couldn't finish the play. Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Seth Beard sent off a good shot on target. Martyn Fordham came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Corinthians's Sebastian Jayvier. But to his dismay, Sebastian Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 32 minutes, Adrian Barraclough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belper Town and the Sport Club Corinthians players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Belper Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Barraclough to maneuver through the defense. Wilmer Ward got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brad Bauer. Martyn Fordham didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Stiles went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Brad Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Fordham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie East in the 44th minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the game, Sport Club Corinthians's Sebastian Jayvier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martyn Fordham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Sebastian Jayvier might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martyn Fordham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Jayvier ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 58th minute of play forced Belper Town's goalkeeper Martyn Fordham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sport Club Corinthians booed when Belper Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reg Lewington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Club Corinthians's Hank Simon got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Delarosa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Seth Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martyn Fordham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Jayvier got free with Martyn Fordham in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brad Bauer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Belper Town's Martyn Fordham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Delarosa in the 94th minute of play.

The Belper Town supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club Corinthians's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club Corinthians.
