Seating: 99, VIP seats: 8) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerônimo Mangueira got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Jerônimo Mangueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Papo, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerônimo Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Papo. That made the score 2-0 in the 5 minute of play. The supporters of Shadow AFC booed when Júbilo Iwata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Ivan Xabier rounded Shadow AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Cleto Barrionuevo put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Giovanni Pena. Shadow AFC's Jacobo Papo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Shadow AFC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Júbilo Iwata's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Maxin came free, but Giovanni Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Maxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Pena was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Shadow AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cleto Barrionuevo in the 26th minute. The corner led Shadow AFC's Cleto Barrionuevo to fire away a dangerous shot which Giovanni Pena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Júbilo Iwata's Jerônimo Mangueira got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Júbilo Iwata's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Maxin came free, but Giovanni Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Xabier in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Papo saved Shadow AFC from getting behind. With his leg Jacobo Papo managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Júbilo Iwata's Jerônimo Mangueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Xabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prudencio Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Pena having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Jerônimo Mangueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Papo. The goal made the score 5-1. Shadow AFC's Jacobo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Xabier in the 48th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Barrionuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro de Barros during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Júbilo Iwata getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sandro de Barros hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Júbilo Iwata's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Maxin came free, but Giovanni Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Jerônimo Mangueira sped through Shadow AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Papo. Jacobo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Shadow AFC defense, Ivan Xabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Papo. The Shadow AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Papo should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute Jerônimo Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Iwan Gondek put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Júbilo Iwata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Giovanni Pena, was totally fooled by Shadow AFC's Cleto Barrionuevo, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Ivan Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Júbilo Iwata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Xabier couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Bittencourt scored 9-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Papo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Velasco struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jacobo Papo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Júbilo Iwata. Júbilo Iwata's Ivan Xabier got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Júbilo Iwata fully deserved thier win.
