BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 14th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when BK Gubbhöft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Incendio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Haglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the BK Gubbhöft players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Revis. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Haglund hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Arne Haglund was the one to do the kick off. Tage Glanselius made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eric Van Lint. Abdi Revis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Isaac Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
