Andreas Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute BK Gubbhöft were awarded a corner. Ciro Incendio went to the cornerflag to take it. Ove Salkvist scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Lindqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Hydén in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Sten Hydén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Lindqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Andreas Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tage Glanselius got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eric Van Lint. Per Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Lindqvist having to interfere. If Bengt-Arne Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Arne Haglund was the one to do the kick off. The corner led to Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Hydén in the 57th minute of the match. Andreas Lindqvist made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ove Salkvist sent off a good shot on target. BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica was substituted for Per Söderberg. Vykans Vikingar's Simon Brolin was substituted for Hugo Eden. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Veronica in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Veronica in the 65th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaac Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jonas Ahlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Andreas Lindqvist made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fidel Veronica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Lindqvist was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Ciro Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Gubbhöft's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
