Adam Bareiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Mena was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Carlomagno having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jabones Tocadores the free kick. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mo Yi Sang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Romulo Montrelle made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Orlando Mena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Carlomagno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mo Yi Sang got free with Romulo Montrelle in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Orlando Mena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mena in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jabones Tocadores defense, Mo Yi Sang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Montrelle. The Jabones Tocadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Montrelle should have stopped the shot. Jabones Tocadores made a substitution. Rigoberto Eliazar replaced Everardo Lluciano.
