After having played for 2 minutes, Krisztián Bartha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krisztián Bartha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4thth minute of the game Krisztián Bartha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ágyúsok FC's Zsolt Kuncz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute of the match TUSE got a corner. Ágyúsok FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferenc Szőllőssy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led TUSE's Olivér Bagi to fire away a dangerous shot which Zsolt Kuncz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 6th minute TUSE were awarded a corner. Ferenc Szőllőssy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bertold Gyurkovics almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ágyúsok FC's Zsolt Kuncz did a great save. In the 8th minute of the match TUSE got a corner. Ágyúsok FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferenc Szőllőssy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Qin Han Han thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Zsolt Kuncz, a very annoying self made goal in the 8th minute which led to 1-0. In the 11th minute, Attila Szalai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Gergely Kalmár had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fülöp Magos. TUSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergely Kalmár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zsolt Kuncz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gergely Kalmár in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fülöp Magos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zsolt Kuncz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivér Bagi in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Ágyúsok FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. György Pálfi hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Gergely Kalmár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Magos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krisztián Bartha made a kick off. Fülöp Magos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Ramsey in the 53rd minute of play. Fülöp Magos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but György Pálfi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. In the 60th minute Krisztián Bartha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Kuncz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TUSE's Fülöp Magos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Pálfi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Bertold Gyurkovics shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Kuncz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Géza Tímár might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zsolt Kuncz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Géza Tímár ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Bartha came free, but Zsolt Kuncz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ágyúsok FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over TUSE's much stronger midfield.
