To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kisnána MTK booed when SÉ SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armas Vapamaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Norbert Puskás came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Kisnána MTK fans jumped to their feet. Medárd Budai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without János Moravecz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Ibrahimovic in the 80th minute of play forced Kisnána MTK's goalkeeper Dávid Bihari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Zalán Ibrahimovic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dávid Bihari. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. SÉ SE's Zalán Ibrahimovic started the play with the initial kick off. If Attila Pálffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SÉ SE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kisnána MTK for a fine match.
