An unexpectedly hard shot by Teta Grande in the 25th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Knight Of Dawn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 60th match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Belko to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Simbo FC defense, Teta Grande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mías Khalifa. The Simbo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mías Khalifa should have stopped the shot. Knight Of Dawn made a substitution. Danilo Matro replaced Klement Belko. Carlos Trinidad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Urtats having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piotr Ostrowski during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's Celedonio Fonda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Simbo FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Knight Of Dawn to win.
