Stone City made a substitution. Amanda Ingesson replaced Mai Yi Xu. Lazaros Kabantais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Balc, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haydar Genişyürek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Stone City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Larpe who took care of the corner kick. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Larpe in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Stone City defense, Tincho Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragomir Marchovski. The Stone City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragomir Marchovski should have stopped the shot. Los Materos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Stone City had won, even though Los Materos FC had held more of the ball.
