A sloppy throw-in by Orlando Jerrold in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yalapa's Diego Armando Junior. The audience was convinced that Fermin Dolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragomir Marchovski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 34th minute of play. Stone City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Matthäus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaf Gall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragomir Marchovski. Stone City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yalapa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
