Rene Aires took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Fabian Raphael in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yalapa's Cristo Izel. 55 minutes in the game Jose Nuno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fermin Dolfo. 56 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Dolfo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Yalapa made a substitution. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Loco De Remate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yalapa.
