Lazaros Kabantais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 24 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Quilo. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar Genişyürek in the 27th minute of play. When Los Materos FC's Haydar Genişyürek, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Los Materos FC. A sloppy throw-in by Eleuterio Rufio in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ITAFUT 4EVER's Niklas Bergdal. In the 33rd minute Tincho Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a penalty for Los Materos FC! 46 minutes into the match, Pierre-Loup Villaume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Peres. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierre-Loup Villaume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Barycz to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilson Peres made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Haydar Genişyürek sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Baggio came free, but Lazaros Kabantais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Flavius Postelnicescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oier Lopez de Toro got free with Nilson Peres in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
