After 12 minutes of play, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basri İhtiyar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar got control of the ball when Rene Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Nuno made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fermin Dolfo immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Diego Armando Junior hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Yalapa's Jose Nuno to fire away a dangerous shot which Walmir Catarinense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 31 minutes, Jose Nuno made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 35th minute of play. Loco De Remate's Feliciano Iratxo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Nuno in the 37 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Medero in the 53rd minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Leonardo Nogueira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walmir Catarinense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Nisio to maneuver through the defense. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Clodoveo Christobal replaced Rene Aires. Amado Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The Loco De Remate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Mehmet Emrah Ruşen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yalapa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Loco De Remate.
