The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Dragomir Marchovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Iordanis Karatzaferis with Adrián Espadas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Venceslao in the 16th minute of play forced Stone City's goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Lano in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragomir Marchovski saved Stone City from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Max Josef Justice hit a great ball. Dan Wennerqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pavel Balc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Pavel Balc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dan Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Balc might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Wennerqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Balc ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Balc came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Pavel Balc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. Soroca F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Balc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stone City made a substitution. Amanda Ingesson replaced Derek Yu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Iordanis Karatzaferis hit a great ball. Norberto Liberato hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Wennerqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Leon Matthäus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Vigil hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 90th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Răzvan Necula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stone City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
