Ulysses Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time Clapham Comets F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Mitchell Godwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Papo Folgueras. That made the score 0-6 in the 75 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Papo Folgueras was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
