After 63 minutes, Leonel Valentim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese and the Club Sportivo Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leonel Valentim hit a great ball. Sebastian Verón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
