Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bemowo's Ong Bongo. But to his dismay, Ong Bongo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Blanco came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match River CBBA got a corner. FC Bemowo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Batista ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Boğaçhan Akyel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Boğaçhan Akyel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Bielejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.

FC Bemowo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
