Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Gardiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Twierdza Osowiec's Marcelo Gay, in the 37th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Twierdza Osowiec. Timothy Strauss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lee Kerr made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Cumhur Tanacan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ricardo Hendrickx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
