Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lithuania's Albinas Albanov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dariusz Brysz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robertas Sabaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dariusz Brysz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 3rd minute Dariusz Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robertas Sabaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sikstas Simanauskas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lithuania's Kęstutis Latoža got a free kick in the 13th minute. Lithuania's Robertas Sabaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 15th minute of play forced Lithuania's goalkeeper Robertas Sabaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Brysz took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robertas Sabaitis. Robertas Sabaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rangel Parashkevov charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rangel Parashkevov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Rangel Parashkevov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Lithuania's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Brysz came free, but Robertas Sabaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute FC Devils were awarded a corner. Rangel Parashkevov went to the cornerflag to take it. When Viktoras Rurin fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Devils's protests and gave Viktoras Rurin a yellow card for diving instead. Sikstas Simanauskas's late challenge caught a FC Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sikstas Simanauskas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lithuania getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sikstas Simanauskas hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Dariusz Brysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robertas Sabaitis. Lithuania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dariusz Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lithuania's attentive Kęstutis Latoža managed to snatch the ball when Bartlomiej Andrysiak made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Albinas Albanov sent off a good shot on target. Albinas Albanov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Artur Boruc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Brysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robertas Sabaitis was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albinas Albanov in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half FC Devils were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dariusz Brysz made the kick off in the second half. Albinas Albanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kęstutis Latoža in the 60th minute of the match. Lithuania made a substitution. Kęstutis Survila replaced Vilmantas Kalinauskas. After 62 minutes FC Devils's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saulius Pilipavičius who took care of the corner kick. Kęstutis Survila was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Robertas Sabaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Latoža in the 67th minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygantas Vyšniauskas in the 70th minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albinas Albanov's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Lithuania made a substitution. Algitas Kaščiukaitis replaced Albinas Albanov. FC Devils's Tobiasz Orszak was substituted for Isaac Henrico. Tadas Eigirdas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Kęstutis Latoža recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robertas Sabaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Kaščiukaitis came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Orszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Robertas Sabaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Lithuania had been in control for most of the match, FC Devils still came away with the win.
