After 7 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mano Hume was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Dariusz Wos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Fermin Martinez got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Santiago came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Costa got free with Mano Hume in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Wos in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner. Rui Costa went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demy Vennegoor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiusz Piatek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkadiusz Piatek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The corner ended in Fermin Martinez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Utopía Muerta FC's zone, Dariusz Wos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mano Hume came out of the goal and Dariusz Wos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Sylwester Sroka replaced Ludwig Wassenius. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Gustav Siöman replaced Marcin Cebula. Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai was substituted for Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC's Ildefonso Abalos was substituted for Prudencio Ubelteso. When Aldo Di Carlo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the A.C. Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Di Carlo couldn't finish the play. If Severo Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Hibai. When A.C. Patagonia's Rui Costa in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Utopía Muerta FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 94th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
