Romeo Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florentino Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Hedvall in the 15th minute of play. Florentino Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Skräddare in the 16th minute of the match. Erling Skräddare took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Gurutz. Florentino Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, cAnDyRaTz!'s Gustaf Beckman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Gurutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, cAnDyRaTz!'s Erling Skräddare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Gurutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Hedvall came free, but Florentino Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yucatan F.C.'s Florentino Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Hedvall in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Senen to maneuver through the defense. Eric Juhlin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florentino Gurutz. Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stefan Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Gurutz having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Stefan Hedvall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Gurutz. Yucatan F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Hedvall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half cAnDyRaTz! were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rafael Frichoso made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Florentino Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Skräddare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The cAnDyRaTz! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 84 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eric Juhlin came free, but Florentino Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Erling Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Gurutz made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Stefan Hedvall sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Stefan Hedvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. cAnDyRaTz!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Hedvall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. cAnDyRaTz!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
