The audience was convinced that Hartmut Hester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Gurutz was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hartmut Hester was the one to do the kick off. Florentino Gurutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lauritz Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gene Centaurs Munich's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauritz Palmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes, Samuel Rocendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yucatan F.C. and the Gene Centaurs Munich players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gene Centaurs Munich booed when Yucatan F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hartmut Hester might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Gurutz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hartmut Hester ran back to his position shaking his head. Gene Centaurs Munich's Nepomuk Förster got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Hartmut Hester sped through Yucatan F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florentino Gurutz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hartmut Hester in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauritz Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Florentino Gurutz came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Gene Centaurs Munich's Hartmut Hester. But to his dismay, Hartmut Hester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. There was no doubt that Gene Centaurs Munich were the better team. Gene Centaurs Munich's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
