The supporters of Select Player booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Focke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Untermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selçuk Ülger in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvester Schwede in the 6th minute of play forced Select Player's goalkeeper Jailson Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Hilger to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Sena came free, but Bruno Untermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Lu Sang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lex Punke hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Select Player's Jailson Antunes got control of the ball when Silvester Schwede tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Hilger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jailson Antunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Select Player's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Hilger came free, but Jailson Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Raúl de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Untermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Select Player's goal looked a bit too open when Silvester Schwede came free, but Jailson Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Untermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selçuk Ülger in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Silvester Schwede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Give Peace a Chance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvester Schwede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Mattias Hilger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jailson Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hilger in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann got control of the ball when Giovani Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mattias Hilger came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Give Peace a Chance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Hilger couldn't finish the play. Jailson Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Hilger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Schwede in the 75th minute of the match. Jailson Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Hilger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Mattias Hilger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jailson Antunes was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Select Player's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Hilger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Give Peace a Chance's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
