Florentino Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Leandro Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Florentino Gurutz made a huge save. After 5 minutes of play, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Alfredinho Machado made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Gurutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentino Gurutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Saldanha in the 8th minute. Rafael Frichoso's late challenge caught a SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Florentino Gurutz made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Joãozinho Factor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Florentino Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Gurutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leandro Saldanha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Leandro Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Gurutz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Machado in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Alfredinho Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Yucatan F.C. booed when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdeněk Zápotocký didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Yucatan F.C. defense, Leandro Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Gurutz. The Yucatan F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Gurutz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Zápotocký in the 33rd minute of play forced Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Florentino Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Gurutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Saldanha in the 35th minute. Alfredinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Gurutz having to interfere. When Leandro Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho Machado to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Machado in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Gurutz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Moraes went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Florentino Gurutz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Walmir Moraes. But to his dismay, Walmir Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Walmir Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Florentino Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Moraes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredinho Machado took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Gurutz. Florentino Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 76th minute, Alfredinho Machado made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Gurutz. Yucatan F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Walmir Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Gurutz having to interfere. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Alfredinho Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Alfredinho Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Gurutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Moraes's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Joãozinho Factor might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Gurutz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joãozinho Factor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Walmir Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Walmir Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute Walmir Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ were the better team. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
