In the 6th minute, Olgierd Winnicki made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Gurutz. Yucatan F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 10 minutes into the game, Challenger RT's Matei Zamfira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Gurutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 16thth minute of the game Zenon Czermak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yucatan F.C.'s Florentino Gurutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20th play minutes Zenon Czermak shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Florentino Gurutz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 27th minute, Olgierd Winnicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Gurutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 30 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Czermak came free, but Florentino Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Zamfira in the 35th minute of play forced Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Florentino Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Olgierd Winnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Florentino Gurutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Tarka in the 39th minute of play forced Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Florentino Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Matei Zamfira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Florentino Gurutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 45 minutes, Wilfredo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yucatan F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Matei Zamfira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yucatan F.C.'s Florentino Gurutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Czermak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Gurutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zenon Czermak to strike the kick off in the second half. Zenon Czermak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Wilfredo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Zamfira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Florentino Gurutz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olgierd Winnicki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Gurutz came out and tried to block the shot, but Olgierd Winnicki slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Yucatan F.C.'s Florentino Gurutz got control of the ball when Olgierd Winnicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Tomás Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Matei Zamfira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florentino Gurutz, 0-11. Florentino Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Czermak in the 71st minute of the match. A hard shot 72 in the game by Matei Zamfira from a close distance when the talented Florentino Gurutz managed to make a qualified save. Yucatan F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 74th minute Challenger RT were awarded a corner. Antoni Tarka went to the cornerflag to take it. Florentino Gurutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Zamfira in the 78th minute. When %teams%'s Zenon Czermak was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-13 just inside the left pole, 83 minutes into the game. Florentino Gurutz was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Yucatan F.C.'s Florentino Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Tarka in the 86th minute of play. Florentino Gurutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janusz Dawiec showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 87 minute of play. When the match was over Challenger RT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yucatan F.C. throughout the match.
