Szczepan Zworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Ahlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match Challenger RT got a corner. Gene Centaurs Munich's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antoni Tarka ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Challenger RT's corner Matei Zamfira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Trenker quite easily take care of the ball. Matei Zamfira had several of the Gene Centaurs Munich's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thomas Trenker as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 22 played minutes Gene Centaurs Munich got a freekick which was hit by Hartmut Hester. The audience was convinced that Andreas Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szczepan Zworski was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of Gene Centaurs Munich booed when Challenger RT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Tarka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hartmut Hester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Gene Centaurs Munich were awarded a corner. Kasimir Kehr went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kasimir Kehr got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Szczepan Zworski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Challenger RT's Matei Zamfira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Trenker. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Ahlstedt in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szczepan Zworski saved Challenger RT from getting behind. Matei Zamfira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomas Trenker firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gene Centaurs Munich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Matei Zamfira scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Trenker, making the score, 3-0. Lauritz Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Gene Centaurs Munich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Anhalter to maneuver through the defense. Grzegorz Arnista hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Kasimir Kehr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szczepan Zworski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Ahlstedt made a kick off. Szczepan Zworski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hartmut Hester went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thomas Trenker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Czermak in the 57th minute of the match. Szczepan Zworski made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Andreas Ahlstedt sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Lino Irber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Challenger RT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Tarka to maneuver through the defense. If Zenon Czermak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdenko Stachowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Szczepan Zworski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Sylwester Podowski put in a rough tackle. In the 78th minute, one of Challenger RT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Challenger RT. 86 minutes into the match, Challenger RT's goalkeeper Szczepan Zworski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Ahlstedt. In the 87th match minute, Gene Centaurs Munich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasimir Kehr to maneuver through the defense. Gene Centaurs Munich's Hartmut Hester got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wawrzyniec Augustyniak fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Challenger RT's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Augustyniak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, one of Challenger RT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Challenger RT. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Gene Centaurs Munich. Kasimir Kehr stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Szczepan Zworski. 3-3. Szczepan Zworski made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Andreas Ahlstedt sent off a good shot on target. Challenger RT's Szczepan Zworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartmut Hester in the 100th minute of play. Szczepan Zworski made a fantastic save in the 101st minute, when Zdenko Stachowsky sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
