In the 17th minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 19th minute of play. When Victor Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Ortle couldn't finish the play. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho MacLaren in the 23rd minute of play. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Betinho Moura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jörg Michael hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Lampard in the 31st minute of the match. Sid Lampard scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Feng Yun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after São Wilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Ortle took the corner. The supporters of C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. booed when São Wilson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Ortle in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shi Feng Yun saved São Wilson from getting behind. After 44 minutes, Victor Ortle made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Shi Feng Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Trondsen in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson was the one to do the kick off. Shi Feng Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Ortle in the 52nd minute. Sid Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Shi Feng Yun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. Betinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho MacLaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Tufan in the 63rd minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after São Wilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Ortle took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Victor Ortle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shi Feng Yun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 67 minutes, Lion Turk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. and the São Wilson players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lion Turk hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. São Wilson made a substitution. Gonçalo Reis replaced Zé Carlos Antunes. A collision led to C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lion Turk hit a great ball. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Lampard in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Sid Lampard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save São Wilson from getting a goal against them. Betinho Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Victor Ortle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shi Feng Yun was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Gonçalo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. made a substitution. Vágner Severo replaced Victor Ortle. São Wilson's Fausto Jayvier was substituted for Enrique Garcia. In the 90th minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner. Eduardo Magnin went to the cornerflag to take it. If Vágner Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over São Wilson's much stronger midfield.
