The JEC - FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Ramos should have stopped the shot. After having played for 10 minutes, Torbjørn Trondsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjørn Trondsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Toli came free, but Betinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to JEC - FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ricardinho Maia hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Ortle got free with Carlos Ramos in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tepedino in the 19th minute of play. Sid Lampard was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner. Victor Ortle went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd minute, Alexandre Tepedino made a precise shot to the right of Betinho Moura. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Betinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes in the game, Sid Lampard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Ramos having to interfere. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Maia in the 31st minute of the match. JEC - FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Maia took the corner. Alexandre Tepedino made a great header on JEC - FC's corner, it was just that C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Tepedino made a kick off. After a rather tough play, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Eduardo Magnin got a free kick in the 51st minute. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Maia in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Victor Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tepedino in the 60th minute of play. Betinho Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Toli in the 62nd minute. Alexandre Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betinho Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sid Lampard scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. made a substitution. Vágner Severo replaced Victor Ortle. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alexandre Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. JEC - FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by JEC - FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Magnin was slow to take the kick. During this time C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eduardo Magnin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
