Baltazar Pemjean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saulão Chettle, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes Maricá FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Shi Xi Zhen who took care of the corner kick. Turgut Soyuer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Pemjean having to interfere. The Maricá FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PREZULO FC were winning 0-6.

The PREZULO FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
