Shi Feng Yun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno De Putter in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shi Feng Yun saved São Wilson from getting behind. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho MacLaren in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Triforce Super Soccer's zone, Paulinho MacLaren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Salles came out of the goal and Paulinho MacLaren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Moraes came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filomeno De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes São Wilson got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Abastas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno De Putter to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Luiz Paulo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulinho MacLaren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 64th minute of play. Triforce Super Soccer's Jean-Pascal Croissant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrique Garcia in the 66 minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shi Feng Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the São Wilson defense, Filomeno De Putter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shi Feng Yun. The São Wilson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shi Feng Yun should have stopped the shot. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Filomeno De Putter put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Shi Feng Yun. In the 90thth minute of the game Filomeno De Putter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Cristian Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Salles was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Triforce Super Soccer fans cheered their team off the field, for while São Wilson had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
