Anselmo Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jailson Soares made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Anselmo Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Jailson Soares however easily saved by the left post. The São Wilson fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when São Wilson's Paulinho MacLaren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute, Adilson Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Allan Barral came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Breguete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Barral couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Flavinho Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shi Feng Yun was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Eugênio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Paulinho MacLaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Wilson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho MacLaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Flavinho Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Shi Feng Yun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shi Feng Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Bulă in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Alves to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Jailson Soares managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jailson Soares stood somewhat misplaced when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 43 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavinho Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Allan Barral hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Soares having to interfere. Radu Bulă scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Feng Yun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Paulinho MacLaren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Breguete FC's Allan Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Soares having to interfere. São Wilson's Giovanni Corrêa was substituted for Valentin Abastas. São Wilson's Gonçalo Reis was substituted for Jörg Michael. São Wilson's Fausto Jayvier was substituted for Enrique Garcia. 79 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Moreno came free, but Jailson Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
