Clemente Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Generoso Normando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soner Şentürk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If 肖星谦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Vieira in the 13th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's Samuel Mesquita in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Carlos Ramos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for JEC - FC through an amazing save. Clemente Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Baptista in the 17th minute of play. Carlos Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Normando in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA got a corner. JEC - FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Normando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Filip Hodne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos did a great save. Carlos Ramos came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's Filip Hodne. But to his dismay, Filip Hodne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Julio Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Leobardo. CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 35 minutes CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardinho Maia who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's Carlos Ramos threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Generoso Normando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raí Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 43 minutes on the clock, Lech Spychalski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Normando in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes JEC - FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Generoso Normando who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Filip Hodne heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After the first half JEC - FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Normando to make the kick off. Tarcisio Galvão had several of the CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Clemente Leobardo as he didn't even see the shot coming. JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Normando in the 57th minute of play. Clemente Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Szegh. CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's Soner Şentürk got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Raí Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Ramos. Julio Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Leobardo having to make a save. Generoso Normando took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Ramos. Carlos Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JEC - FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
