In the 7th minute, Bebeto Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Cutberto Clemente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Porfirio Harvey skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Maricá FC's Zé Meirelles got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Leocadio Ledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maricá FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Pemjean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Maricá FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Peres. Porfirio Harvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Giliusson in the 19th minute of the match. Porfirio Harvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Giliusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Real Ducks Sport Club's Leocadio Ledo managed to work through Maricá FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leocadio Ledo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leocadio Ledo got free with Baltazar Pemjean in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Patrik Giliusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Porfirio Harvey was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Patrik Giliusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maricá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Giliusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfirio Harvey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th match minute, Maricá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Pezzi to maneuver through the defense. Porfirio Harvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enginalp Türkdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Guto Sampaio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baltazar Pemjean, passed just outside the right post. 43 minutes into the game, Patrik Giliusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Porfirio Harvey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Porfirio Harvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginalp Türkdoğan in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Nicholas Ellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guto Sampaio was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Real Ducks Sport Club's goalkeeper Porfirio Harvey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enginalp Türkdoğan. 55 minutes into the match, Maricá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Sampaio came free, but Baltazar Pemjean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Kogo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Porfirio Harvey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Giliusson in the 59th minute of play. Baltazar Pemjean came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Ducks Sport Club's Guto Sampaio. But to his dismay, Guto Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Patrik Giliusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Porfirio Harvey was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Emiliano Pezzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfirio Harvey having to interfere. The supporters of Maricá FC booed when Real Ducks Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Enginalp Türkdoğan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Porfirio Harvey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 70 minutes Real Ducks Sport Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cutberto Clemente who took care of the corner kick. Guto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Baltazar Pemjean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Guto Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltazar Pemjean was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Guto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Baltazar Pemjean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enginalp Türkdoğan might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Porfirio Harvey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enginalp Türkdoğan ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Guto Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ducks Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guto Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rodolfo Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Ducks Sport Club's protests and gave Rodolfo Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Aparecido hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
