Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 21st minute of the match. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Legzdins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match, Gedeon Káposztás tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evaristo Neves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Tacal came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lupere FC - DMZ reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan das Neves in the 40th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alan das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Papão de WC's zone, Sermet Tacal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Linquist came out of the goal and Sermet Tacal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution.
