The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute, Jacinto de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Borges was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dong Qiang Feng. Antônio Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Pacholewski in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's zone, Kristofers Cveigorēns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Austin came out of the goal and Kristofers Cveigorēns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Lara came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Velasco made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fryderyk Pacholewski however managed to control. Rene Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. PIRATAS TFP were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Pires took the corner. The corner ended in Clemente Pires almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin did a great save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Célio Queirós made a kick off. Dé Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Velasco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Michel Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Austin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Clemente Pires got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Michel Velasco got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Jacinto de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Rene Austin. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PIRATAS TFP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
