In the 15th minute Gică Moisescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Barros got free with Daniel Chaves in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ defense, Babür Kongurtay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renato Vidal. The ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renato Vidal should have stopped the shot. Régis Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Chaves having to make a save. A collision led to Dragões Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gil Paulista hit a great ball. Daniel Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Fontes went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Chaime in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Chaves saved Dragões Barbudos FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Chaime in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rolando Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Chaime couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Madureira in the 63rd minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Olle in the 66th minute of play. The ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Jeremias Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão de Amorim. Manuel Victoro, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luke Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Renato Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Vidal made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Babür Kongurtay sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xicu Cuadrado came free, but Daniel Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xicu Cuadrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
