The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match, Ryszard Nowak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Paulo Barreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Nowak got free with Pedro Paulo Barreto in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Przemyslaw Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Danilo Principe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gugu Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Airborne FC from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Airborne FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Carlos Vaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zé Carlos Vaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto did a great save. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Airborne FC were awarded a corner. Qin Xiang Chuan went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Airborne FC's corner Qin Xiang Chuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Przemyslaw Tscherner quite easily take care of the ball. Jerônimo Moreira hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. João Vítor Branco made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Di Feng Zhen immediately put the ball in play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Airborne FC made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Danilo Principe. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Jatsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Przemyslaw Tscherner made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Casimiro Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 57th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Jatsu in the 59th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Lind in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Vaz came free, but Pedro Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Przemyslaw Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Perivaldo Loyola was substituted for Ryszard Nowak. In the 66th minute Airborne FC were awarded a corner. Qin Xiang Chuan went to the cornerflag to take it. Qin Xiang Chuan made a great header on Airborne FC's corner, it was just that Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner managed to reach the ball for a save. 68 minutes into the match, Casimiro Jatsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Przemyslaw Tscherner, 0-1. In the 83rd minute, Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Przemyslaw Tscherner. Przemyslaw Tscherner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 88th minute, Zé Carlos Vaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Paulo Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tscherner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Sven Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Airborne FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
