Sermet Tacal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto got control of the ball when Sermet Tacal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sermet Tacal. Stuart Legzdins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Barreto having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Qin Xiang Chuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Airborne FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan das Neves got free with Pedro Paulo Barreto in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alan das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Evaristo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 36th minute of play. Edu Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Sermet Tacal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Barreto. Airborne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sermet Tacal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Edu Matorin hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Casimiro Jatsu made the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Jatsu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Evaristo Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airborne FC. After 62 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by João de Sousa. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Valdemar Monteiro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Jatsu got free with Evaristo Neves in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Jatsu in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Legzdins in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Stuart Legzdins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Airborne FC made a substitution. Cássio Chaves replaced Marcos Linares. Lupere FC - DMZ's Han Xiang Chao was substituted for João de Sousa. Casimiro Jatsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's Stuart Legzdins managed to work through Airborne FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Stuart Legzdins dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Casimiro Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Jatsu.
