After some careless play in the Warren FC - DMZ defense, Gedeon Káposztás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Moreira. The Warren FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Moreira should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andréas Linquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Edson Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Moreira having to interfere. In the 27th minute Laércio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warren FC - DMZ and the Grêmio Papão de WC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gedeon Káposztás to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Moreira came out of the goal and Gedeon Káposztás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cleiton Duarte in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grêmio Papão de WC's José Leme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 90th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Mika received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Moreira came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Mika slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 94th minute. Grêmio Papão de WC played a much better game than Warren FC - DMZ and deserved their victory. The Warren FC - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
