In the 18th minute Bernardinho Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joris Scheer might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Austin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Scheer, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joris Scheer in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Austin saved Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Joris Scheer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alfredinho Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's protests and gave Alfredinho Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho Lopez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Väinö Caca-Rato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Cerezo. That made the score 1-4 in the 34 minute of play. Fryderyk Pacholewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Armando Cerezo made a huge save. Rene Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 41st minute of play. Joris Scheer might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Austin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joris Scheer ran back to his position shaking his head. When S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after S.C.CHUÍ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonello Anzolin took the corner. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Joris Scheer took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Rene Austin to make any attempt to save it. S.C.CHUÍ's Elder Donatello was substituted for Luis León. Joris Scheer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Armando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Rene Austin managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
