Pedro Paulo Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Raphael Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Jatsu went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Casimiro Jatsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raphael Dantas having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Jatsu came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Casimiro Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Principe in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Casimiro Jatsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Raphael Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Jatsu came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Dantas came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu. But to his dismay, Casimiro Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Airborne FC were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Thanos was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Mauro Quirino made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Airborne FC booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Quirino in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Paulo Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Toribio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Sven Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven Lind came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Toribio to maneuver through the defense. Airborne FC made a substitution. Cássio Chaves replaced Marcos Linares. When the match was over Airborne FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- throughout the match.
