The corner led PIRATAS TFP's Clemente Pires to fire away a dangerous shot which Andréas Linquist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edson Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eliézer Ramos hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Niklas Molander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto de Lara to make the kick off. Clemente Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Muniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Rodrigo Muniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jacinto de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIRATAS TFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Linquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andréas Linquist. That made the score 0-1 after 92 minutes of play.
