Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Zatorski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of CJ Buffon, 2-0. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CJ Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 24th minute of the match. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Dadá Maravilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raphael Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Donato in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 42nd minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s CJ Buffon threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbigniew Zatorski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raphael Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Maravilha went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Maravilha to make the kick off. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them.
