Eustaquio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ixidor Lelerre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustaquio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Marques came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Eustaquio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ixidor Lelerre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Goiano in the 27th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Eustaquio Marques made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ixidor Lelerre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ixidor Lelerre was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Marques in the 39th minute of play. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Marques in the 40th minute of play. Ixidor Lelerre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Bastos in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Marius Cocârlă came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Olinda FMZ DMZ fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis Madureira in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ixidor Lelerre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Olinda FMZ DMZ defense, Xicu Cuadrado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ixidor Lelerre. The Olinda FMZ DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ixidor Lelerre should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Goiano got free with Renato Vidal in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
