Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Laguna Sunrise FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Derwin to maneuver through the defense. Diguinho Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Betinho Moura made a huge save. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Victor Ortle. But to his dismay, Victor Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 minutes Laguna Sunrise FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Ortle who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Victor Ortle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emerson Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Ortle in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Laguna Sunrise FC's César Alves got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Laguna Sunrise FC's Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Lampard in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Torbjørn Trondsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 33rdth minute of the game Victor Ortle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laguna Sunrise FC's Emerson Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes Laguna Sunrise FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Ortle who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victor Ortle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laguna Sunrise FC's Emerson Leão did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Laguna Sunrise FC's zone, Sid Lampard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leão came out of the goal and Sid Lampard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sid Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Emerson Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Raimundo Derwin got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Victor Ortle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Victor Ortle made the kick off in the second half. Laguna Sunrise FC's Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ortle in the 53rd minute of play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Laguna Sunrise FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Ortle took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Gustavo Gómez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 54th minute Gustavo Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Emerson Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Victor Ortle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Sid Lampard came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Lampard couldn't finish the play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. Victor Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Hoffmann in the 62nd minute of the match. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Lampard, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Sid Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Leão having to interfere. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Lampard, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Victor Ortle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Emerson Leão made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Laguna Sunrise FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vágner Severo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 93 minutes, Sid Lampard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Lampard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
