The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, B-S-L's Adilson Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Adilson Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, JEC - FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Matorin came free, but Carlos Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adilson Matorin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Ramos saved JEC - FC from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, JEC - FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 洪笑珂 to maneuver through the defense. B-S-L's Peter Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Maia in the 23rd minute of play. Carlos Ramos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by B-S-L's Adilson Matorin. But to his dismay, Adilson Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Matorin in the 32nd minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Adilson Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlos Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Adilson Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Alexandre Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior de Moraes in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardinho Maia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Peter Lundgren. That made the score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. When B-S-L's Adilson Matorin in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JEC - FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hudson Sergipano's late challenge caught a JEC - FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hudson Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. Hudson Sergipano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Matorin in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos got control of the ball when Júnior de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in B-S-L's zone, Ricardinho Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Lundgren came out of the goal and Ricardinho Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Maia notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of B-S-L's Peter Lundgren. Peter Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Júnior de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Ramos. JEC - FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Peter Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Adilson Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. B-S-L made a substitution. Sebastião Baiano replaced Júnior de Moraes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Baiano in the 87th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patryk Gecionis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B-S-L. Carlos Ramos made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sebastião Baiano sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes JEC - FC got a freekick which was hit by 洪笑珂. 肖星谦 hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Patryk Gecionis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B-S-L's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patryk Gecionis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
