Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Real Ducks Sport Club were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Aparecido went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Laguna Sunrise FC's goalie and right to Pedro Luiz Quintal. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Laguna Sunrise FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leocadio Ledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Sampaio in the 44th minute of the match. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Sampaio in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The Real Ducks Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 59 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Sampaio came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Ellis in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Laguna Sunrise FC defense, Nicholas Ellis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Leão. The Laguna Sunrise FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Leão should have stopped the shot. Emerson Leão stood somewhat misplaced when Guto Sampaio came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Real Ducks Sport Club's Porfirio Harvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Abreu in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Ducks Sport Club defense, César Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Porfirio Harvey. The Real Ducks Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porfirio Harvey should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Bebeto Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Real Ducks Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Andrade came free, but Porfirio Harvey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Laguna Sunrise FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder de Lima. In the 85th minute, Otávio Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laguna Sunrise FC's goalkeeper Emerson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Guto Sampaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Emerson Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Real Ducks Sport Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laguna Sunrise FC throughout the match.
