With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Luiz Paulo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes JEC - FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Calçada who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Triforce Super Soccer's Napoleon Tylenda getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 20th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JEC - FC's zone, Filomeno De Putter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ramos came out of the goal and Filomeno De Putter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, JEC - FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Filomeno De Putter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Ramos. JEC - FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno De Putter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When 洪笑珂 fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JEC - FC's protests and gave 洪笑珂 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, 洪笑珂 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JEC - FC's Carlos Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save JEC - FC from getting a goal against them.
