In the 13th minute, Carlinhos Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferrao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19thth minute of the game Patrik Giliusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferrao FC's Valdemar Câmara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomé Sá hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Viana in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Pemjean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 30 in the game by Enginalp Türkdoğan from a close distance when the talented Valdemar Câmara managed to make a qualified save. Ferrao FC's players were relieved. Carlinhos Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltazar Pemjean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ferrao FC's Carlinhos Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrik Giliusson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Valdemar Câmara 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Carlinhos Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferrao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Viana in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Pemjean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Pezzi in the 47th minute of play forced Ferrao FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Câmara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Giliusson made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Ferrao FC got a freekick which was hit by João Miranda. Ferrao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinho Arantes in the 58th minute. The corner led Ferrao FC's Claudinho Arantes to fire away a dangerous shot which Baltazar Pemjean despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. D.J. 武磊 kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carlinhos Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Pemjean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Maricá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Viana came free, but Baltazar Pemjean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Carlinhos Viana could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Baltazar Pemjean however easily saved by the left post. When Tomé Sá fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maricá FC's protests and gave Tomé Sá a yellow card for diving instead. Tomé Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltazar Pemjean was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Baltazar Pemjean made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Carlinhos Viana sent off a good shot on target. The Ferrao FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
